Artworks from the museum’s permanent exhibition
The National Gallery of the Faroe Islands houses a huge collection of Faroese art, featuring around 2,800 works. Barely 300 of them are displayed in the museum’s permanent exhibition. The exhibition is divided into 12 different themes: for example The Sea, Landscape, Colours and Shape. Below you can see a selection of the works from each thematic room and read more about the individual works.

The National Gallery is temporarily closed from 1 November 2021 - 1 February 2022 due to renovation.

Admission
Adults: 90 DKK
Senior discount ticket: 70 DKK
Students: 25 DKK
Children and young people under 20 years: free

Group discount min. 12 adults: 60 DKK per person

Annual pass for one: 225 DKK
Annual pass 1+1 - bring a friend for free: 300 DKK

The annual pass includes free entrance to the museum as well as free admission to guided tours, concerts and events.
