The National Gallery of the Faroe Islands is creating new links between art and music.

Five bands/musicians have each composed a new track inspired by one of the National Gallery’s works of art.

JASMIN

Jasmin chose Ingálvur av Reyni’s Interior, Spring as inspiration for their song.

EINANGRAN

Einangran (a duo consisting of Lea Kampmann and Heiðrikur á Heygum) chose Sámal Joensen-Mikines’ Ships Depart on a Spring Day as inspiration for their song.

FUNKSJÓN

The band Funksjón chose Tróndur Patursson’s Autumn as inspiration for their song.

KRISTIAN BLAK

Kristian Blak chose William Heinesen's The Lake at Porkeri for his composition.

LEA KAMPMANN

Lea Kampmann chose her great-grandfather, Jack Kampmann’s Smack on Slipway as inspiration for her song.

Senior discount ticket: 70 DKK
Students: 25 DKK
Children and young people under 20 years: free

Group discount min. 12 adults: 60 DKK per person

Annual pass for one: 225 DKK
Annual pass 1+1 - bring a friend for free: 300 DKK

The annual pass includes free entrance to the museum as well as free admission to guided tours, concerts and events.

In addition to that, you get 10% discount on posters, books and postcards as well as 10% discount in the museum café.
