Free concert: Jón Festirstein (FO)
The concert with the Faroese violinist Sunday at 4 pm at the National Gallery has been MOVED to the Catholic church Mariukirkjan in Tórshavn
Jón Festirstein is a Faroese violinist and started his musical training in Tórshavnar Musikkskúla with Sámal Petersen as his teacher. Jón graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2012 under professor Serguei Azizian. Having working as a freelance musician in Denmark, Jón decided to move back to the Faroes to work as a music teacher and musician. Jón is a member of the contemporary music ensemble Aldubáran and a member of the Faroese Symphony Orchestra.
