‘The Sea’ is a catalogue all about the importance of the sea in Faroese art. As a motif, the ever-changing sea can be depicted in so many different ways. A work can depict both the strong, dangerous forces of nature and the peaceful, beautiful moments. The catalogue features a huge selection of artworks, all of which tackle the subject of the sea in different ways.
