The National Gallery of the Faroe Islands loves to welcome families and children. In the museum's reception, we have prepared some entertaining activities for you to enjoy - with something from the café or by being creative together. In the hall, we have arranged activity-tables with activities that can be solved by children and adults of all ages. You can compete about who can make the smallest sculpture out of Silk Clay (a kind of play dough), and who can make the most fun new artwork by painting on top of reproductions of the museum's artwork. We provide a lot of postcards for free for you to use, and we look forward to seeing who can come up with the best reinterpretation. At the tables you can also draw, solve puzzles and much more.

You do not have to buy a ticket to use the café, shop and activity-tables - it is free and open to everyone.

Children under the age of 20 always have free admission to the museum's collections and special exhibitions, while the adult fare is DKK 90.

Packed lunches may be eaten in the reception.

We also have free WiFi.

Well met!
