The Faroe Islands Art Museum (Listasavn Føroya(
The Faroe Islands Art Museum is situated in the park to the west of the sports stadium, 5 minutes walk from the Nordic House.
Organization
The four members of the governing body represent The Faroese Government (the chairman), Listafelag Føroya (Faroe Islands Art Society), Føroysk Myndlistafólk (Association of Faroese Artists) and Tórshavn Municipal Council. The members of the board of governors are elected for 4 years. The board appoints the Director of the Museum for a period of 5 years.
